Beacon Counseling
Welcome to our Community
JC Counseling, LLC operates out of Beacon Counseling (Atrium 120, Suite 111) in Brookfield, WI.
While JC Counseling is an independent practice, I am proud to share space with the incredible team at Beacon Counseling. Having gone to graduate school together, the founders of Beacon are not only esteemed colleagues—they are dear friends whose clinical excellence, integrity, and client-centered care I trust implicitly.
Looking for additional specialties or a different therapeutic fit? If my current schedule is full, or if you are looking for therapy services outside of my specific scope, such as specialized Brainspotting, DBT, group, or specific OCD therapy, I highly recommend exploring Beacon Counseling.
Alexander Kirk, LPC-IT
Licensed Professional Counselor in Training (Lic. #7712-226)
Supervised by Alicia Fleishmann, LPC, CSAC, ICS, PMH-C
If you’re looking for a therapist who is nonjudgmental, down-to-earth, and not afraid to bring humor into the room, Alex is a fantastic fit. A 2023 Carroll University Master's graduate, he works with adults navigating depression, mood disorders, and daily stress.
What to Expect:
Real Skills & Mindfulness: Practical tools to increase your quality of life without the jargon.
Experiential & Walk-and-Talk Therapy: Prefer the outdoors over four walls? Alex offers outdoor sessions—meeting at parks, going on walks, or choosing a space that feels right for you.
Grounded Support: A calm, steady environment where you can actually drop your guard.
Off the Clock: Alex gets excited about the simple things—trying new local food spots, going for walks, playing PS5, and catching up on the latest TV series.
Victoria Kirk-Julius, LPC, Brainspotting Trained
If you are navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, or OCD, Victoria is in your corner. Having lived with anxiety since childhood, she understands firsthand how overwhelming mental health challenges can feel—and how transformative it is to have a compassionate, skilled professional help lighten the load.
What to Expect:
Personalized Care: Your therapy is tailored entirely to your goals and pace—never a one-size-fits-all checklist.
Evidence-Based Support: Specialized, effective treatment for grief, trauma, anxiety, and often-misunderstood OCD.
A Grounded, Warm Environment: An atmosphere built on genuine warmth, zero judgment, and a focus on your existing strengths.
How Sessions Work: You’ll start with a relaxed 60-minute intake session to map out where you are and what you need. From there, you’ll work together to examine patterns, build practical coping skills, and find real-world clarity.
